  1. Does anyone know what other S106 / CIL benefits Southwark is getting from the re-development? The article concentrates only on affordable housing.It doesn’t necessarily provide the full picture. Isn’t the scheme providing Mayoral CIL, Southwark CIL and other planning obligations? The scheme will also be built out to the Mayor’s higher design standards and national energy efficiency requirements. The article really needs to explore this dimension. Are local authorities really the victims of rapacious developers or willing landowners?

  2. Does anyone have a perspective on Red Door Ventures? This is Newham Counil granting itself planning permission to build homes for private rent. what do we think about that?
